The very first tip is to not throw cold freezing water on your face every day. You need to gently wash your face with Luke warm water which helps retain the moisture in the skin and also returns the warmth in your bloodstream. But it is very important to apply a moisturizer post drying off your face. A moisturizer helps to protect the retained moisture and keeps your skin soft and shining.

Natural oils are very good for the skin; they provide the much-needed nutrition. It is rich in fatty acids and prevents moisture loss. You can apply coconut oil before sleeping at night; it helps to soothe the dryness and also helps to get rid of the scars and dead skin.

Fresh fruits and hydration are a very good means of keeping your insides moisturized which in turn reflects on the outside bringing a beautiful glow in the winter sky. We tend to drink less water in the winter because we turn to hot drinks like cocoa and tea, but don’t forget that your skin needs hydration from the inside, out. A little warm water with lemon can be very refreshing and hydrating at the same time. More tomatoes, cucumber and all the vegetables that will naturally hydrate you will be good for your skin.
